These Terms of Service (“Terms”) govern your use of the Amari mobile application (“App”), operated by Amari Technologies LLC (“Amari,” “we,” “us”), a Texas limited liability company based in Austin, Texas. By creating an account, you agree to these Terms.
1.Eligibility
You must be at least 18 years old to use Amari. Amari is designed for couples already in a relationship who wish to strengthen it. Each couple maintains one shared subscription.
2.Your Account
You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials and for all activity under your account. Couples connect through a private pairing code; you are responsible for who you share that code with.
3.Subscription & Billing
Amari is offered as a monthly subscription, billed to the account holder via Stripe. The first 500 couples to subscribe receive the Founding Rate of $14.99/month, locked in for as long as the subscription remains active without interruption. All other couples are billed the Standard Rate of $19.99/month. Subscriptions renew automatically each month until cancelled. You may cancel anytime in Settings; your access continues until the end of the current billing period. If you cancel and later resubscribe, you will be billed at the then-current Standard Rate. We may change our prices with at least 30 days' notice.
4.Acceptable Use
You agree not to: use Amari for any unlawful purpose; harass, abuse, or harm another person, including your partner; attempt to access another user's private AI Chat; reverse-engineer or interfere with the App; or misuse the SMS nudge system to send unwanted messages to third parties.
5.Your Content
You retain ownership of the photos, messages, and other content you create in Amari (“Your Content”). You grant Amari a limited license to store, process, and display Your Content solely to provide the App's features to you and, where applicable, your partner.
6.AI-Generated Content
Amari's suggestions, chat responses, and other AI-generated content are produced by artificial intelligence and are intended for general relationship support and entertainment purposes. They are not a substitute for professional therapy, counseling, medical, legal, or financial advice.
If you are experiencing a mental health crisis or believe you or someone else is in danger, please contact 911 or a crisis line immediately — do not rely on Amari.
7.Privacy
Our collection and use of your information is described in our Privacy Policy, which is part of these Terms.
8.Disclaimer of Warranties
Amari is provided “as is” and “as available,” without warranties of any kind, express or implied, including warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, or non-infringement. We do not guarantee that the App will be uninterrupted, error-free, or that it will improve your relationship.
9.Limitation of Liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, Amari Technologies LLC will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages arising from your use of the App. Our total liability for any claim will not exceed the amount you paid us in the twelve months before the claim arose.
10.Termination
We may suspend or terminate your account if you violate these Terms. You may stop using Amari and cancel your subscription at any time.
11.Governing Law
These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Texas, without regard to conflict-of-law principles. Any dispute will be resolved in the state or federal courts located in Travis County, Texas, unless applicable law requires otherwise.
12.Changes to These Terms
We may update these Terms from time to time. Continued use of the App after changes take effect constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.
