Amari Technologies LLC (“Amari,” “we,” “us,” or “our”), a Texas limited liability company based in Austin, Texas, operates the Amari mobile application (the “App”). This Privacy Policy explains what information we collect, how we use it, and the choices you have.
1.Information We Collect
- Account Information — name, email address, profile photo, date of birth (for age verification), and your relationship anniversary date.
- Location Information — with your permission, we collect your device's location to power Things To Do suggestions. You can search other locations manually, and you can disable location access in your device settings at any time.
- Phone Number — collected to send SMS nudges. You may opt out of SMS nudges at any time in Settings.
- Photos — photos you upload to Memories.
- AI Chat Content — messages you send to Amari in AI Chat. This content is processed by our AI service provider (Anthropic) to generate responses and is never shared with your partner — not the content, a summary, or a hint that a conversation occurred. Automated safety systems may review chat content for patterns indicating a risk of harm to you or others; a human does not read your conversations except where necessary to respond to a safety concern, comply with the law, or provide support you've requested.
- Payment Information — subscription payments are processed by Stripe, our payment processor. We do not store your full card number.
- Usage & Device Information — app version, device type, crash logs, and general usage analytics.
2.How We Use Information
We use your information to: provide and personalize the App (suggestions, intentions, AI Chat); send SMS nudges; process subscription payments; maintain the security and reliability of the App; and comply with legal obligations.
4.Your Privacy Rights (Texas Residents)
Under the Texas Data Privacy and Security Act, you have the right to: know what personal data we hold about you; correct inaccurate data; delete your data; obtain a copy of your data; and opt out of the sale of personal data or its use for targeted advertising. We do not sell personal data or use it for targeted advertising. To exercise these rights, contact privacy@join-amari.com. If you disagree with our response, you may appeal by replying to that response, and you may also contact the Texas Attorney General.
5.Data Retention
We retain your information for as long as your account is active. If you delete your account, we delete or anonymize your personal information within 30 days, except where we must retain it to comply with the law.
6.Children's Privacy
Amari is intended for individuals age 18 and older. We do not knowingly collect information from anyone under 18. If we learn we have done so, we will delete it.
7.Security
We use industry-standard safeguards, including encryption in transit and at rest, to protect your information. No system is completely secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.
8.Changes to This Policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. We will notify you of material changes in the App or by email.

10.This Website
Sections 1 through 9 describe the Amari mobile application. This section covers join-amari.com — the marketing site you are reading now — which collects information the App does not.
If you join the waitlist, we store three things:
- The email address you submit.
- The date and time you submitted it.
- Any campaign parameters attached to the URL you arrived on, so we know which link brought you here.
That is the entire record. We use it for one purpose: to email you when Amari opens, and to honour the Founding Rate if you were among the first 500. We do not sell it, rent it, or give it to advertisers.
If you don't join, browsing this site stores nothing about you. There are no analytics scripts, no advertising pixels, and no cookies set by us.
Third parties in the path:
- Google Firebase hosts this site and stores waitlist entries. Firebase keeps standard server request logs, which include IP addresses.
- Google Fonts serves the two typefaces this page uses, so Google receives a request from your browser when the page loads.
- Cloudflare provides DNS for this domain.
Removing yourself. Email privacy@join-amari.com and we will delete your entry. No reason needed, and no attempt to talk you out of it. Every email we send will also carry an unsubscribe link.
